Luminiţa Dinu-Huţupan (née Huţupan) (born 6 November 1971 in Piatra Neamţ) is a retired Romanian handball player. She is considered a living handball legend.[1]

In January 2011, Dinu was chosen by the fans on http://www.ihf.info the best handball goalkeeper from the history of this sport, with more than 7000 votes (nearly 94%).[2]

Dinu-Huţupan, who began playing handball in 1985, has a high school diploma, is married, and speaks Romanian and Slovene.[3]

She has played for CS Oltchim Râmnicu Vâlcea, HC Kometal Gjorče Petrov and Krim Ljubljana.
